I’m trying an experiment:I want to see if there are artists out there who want and need my help. Artists, if you want in on the action: to post a video of your process here, being interviewed by Nina, or would like a free consultation regarding Web 2.0 marketing, leave a comment below or contact me, Nina Alvarez, at chaosdream21@hotmail.com.
My History with Art Marketing Web 2.0 But I had come to a point where I realized that selling art – hell, selling anything online, is not as simple as the gurus and marketing talking heads want to tell you. I didn’t want to be one of those talking heads. I’d had people telling me for years what I wanted to hear and it hadn’t worked. That is because it takes a lot of work and dedication to sell your work online. It isn’t as simple as loving your art and posting pictures of it to a blog. So I spent 2009 focusing on writing and editing fiction. Something I knew I could do and do well. Something with a clear result. But I’ve recently dived back into Web 2.0 and learned a lot. I have a lot to say about what actually attracts people and what the right mindset is for putting your stuff out there online. |
